"Foncravieres" is a holiday gite situated 9km south of the pretty bastide town of Tournon d'Agenais in the Department of Tarn et Garonne in South West France.

 

The house is surrounded by a spacious garden of 1500m2 which has many trees including cherry, plum and walnut which are available to our guests. As well as having plenty of open space in which to sit and enjoy the sun, the trees provide shade when needed. An outdoor table and chairs plus parasol provide seating for up to six people.

"Foncravieres" comprises three bedrooms (two double and one twin), a living/dining room, kitchen, terrace, bathroom, and separate toilet. It is pleasantly furnished and has a washing machine, fridge freezer, cooking by gas, and garage space. A mini Hi-Fi system, books, and games are available and there are walks on the doorstep.

Recently furnished and decorated, the living/dining room, kitchen, toilet and passage ways all have tiled floors. All rooms have views of the gardens and there are two doors opening out from the living room onto the terrace which gets the morning sun.

The house is central for visiting the historic towns of Cahors, Villeneuve sur Lot, and Agen. Although it is very much in a country setting, amenities are only a few kilometres away. Roquecor (4k) has a general store and a cafe. Tournon and Penne (both 10k), have a fuller range of shops and restaurants. Weekly markets are held at Penne, Tournon, Montaigu de Quercy, Montcuq, Caussade, Valence d'Agen, Lauzerte, Castelsarrassin, and Moissac.

The local village is Valeilles, which has a public tennis court, there is horse riding available at St. Beauzil, a leisure lake at Montaigu de Query, fishing and golf courses are also available nearby.

RATES 2005/2006

LOW - 30 April - 25 June - £240 per week.

MID - 25 June - 9 July - £290 per week.

HIGH - 9 July - 3 September - £350 per week.

MID - 3 September - 1 October - £290 per week

LOW - 1 October - 29 October - £240 per week.

OUT OF SEASON - 29 October - end April 2006- £175 per week.

Anyone booking two weeks or more between 25 June & 1 October may have

out of season weeks at £100.

Available for long lets out of season for £300 per month, two months minimum

Linen is not supplied, please supply your own bed linen, towels and tea towels.

Deposit of 20% required for booking, balance to be paid three weeks prior to holiday..
